When is the best time to visit Santorini?
Late April to October is the main season. May, June, September and October are warm but less crowded than July and August.
When is the best time to visit Cancún & Riviera Maya?
December through April, the dry season. Hurricane season runs June through November, when prices are often lower.
When is the best time to visit Maui & Oahu?
Hawaii is warm year-round. April–May and September–November are quieter and often better value, and whale season runs roughly December to April.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
April to June and September to October bring mild weather and smaller crowds than midsummer.
When is the best time to visit Tokyo & Kyoto?
Late March to early April for cherry blossoms, or October to November for fall colors.
When is the best time to take an Alaska Inside Passage cruise?
Alaska cruise season runs May through September. June to August is warmest; May and September are often better value.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April, the dry season, has the sunniest weather and calmest seas.
When is the best time to visit New York City?
April to June and September to November for comfortable walking weather, or December for holiday lights.
Which of these trips do not need a passport?
For U.S. citizens, Hawaii and New York City are domestic trips, so a REAL ID or other accepted photo ID is enough. Most Alaska cruises stop in Canada, so we recommend bringing a passport. Every other destination here needs a valid passport.
